During 15 years on Fleet Street, George Thwaites held senior editorial posts on two of Britain’s largest national newspapers.


At The Daily Telegraph he worked in the Arts, Features and Comment departments before moving to The Mail on Sunday where he spent five years as Editor of the influential Review section, which reached five million readers every week and 50 million monthly users online.

Since setting up Clearwood Media in 2011, George has worked on numerous high profile media cases and been listed regularly as a ‘top reputation manager’ in Spear’s Magazine’s Reputation Index (most recently in 2023).
